Puerto Rican painter and educator, author of “Tu, puedes ser ARTISTA PINTOR” (You! can be an Artist Painter”).
She has excelled as a watercolorist but also works in oil, pastel, mixed media, acrylics, monotypes, and digital art.
She has participated in over 300 solo and group exhibitions, in which she has received national and international awards.
Estela has represented Puerto Rico in International Exhibitions and Biennials at: The Bolivarian Museum of Art,
Santa Marta, Colombia (2009, 2012), National Museum of Watercolor in Mexico City (2004, 2010), Mint Museum, Madrid,
Spain (2009), Ateneo El Hatillo, Caracas, Venezuela (2005), Museum of Art, Ligonier Valley, Pennsylvania, USA (2001),
Agora Gallery, Soho, New York, USA (1993). Included in Who's Who in American Art " (2010, 2011, 2012), International
Artist Magazine, Section" Master Painters of the World "(June / July, 2003), the Knowledge Test in Spanish as a Second
Language, State University of New York. (June, 2003), the Dictionary of International Biographies, Cambridge, England
(Edition 23, 1992); nominated International Woman of the Year 1991-1992 in The World Who's Who of Women by the Editorial
Board, International Biographical Centre, Edition XI, Cambridge, England.
In Puerto Rico, has exhibited in over 16 museums and illustrated covers of telephone directories, tourist guides,
historical books, poems, novels, and postcards. She proposed to the Senate of Puerto Rico to celebrate the "Week of
Puerto Rican Artist Painter", converted into Law 187, which states to be held annually in December.
Graduated of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, has been university professor, instructor of drawing and painting,
art jury, curator of exhibitions and member of several art associations. Currently, Estela Robles is President of Artists
Painters of Puerto Rico Associated (APPRA), Secretary of United Painters, and Artisans of Aguadilla, Inc. (PAUA), Secretary
of Caribbean Artists Association (AAC), member of Artists Coalition of Puerto Rico (COAPR) and member of Hispano-American
Watercolor Group.(GAH).
Her paintings are in private and corporate collections in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, England,
Germany, and the United States. Reproduces her paintings in limited editions.
Currently, Estela Robles is member of Artists Painters of Puerto Rico Associated (APPRA), of Association of Plastic
Artists of Puerto Rico (AAPPRA), of Caribbean Artists Association (AAC), and of Hispano-American Watercolor Group.(GAH).

Pintora y educadora puertorriqueña, autora del libro ¡Tú! puedes ser Artista Pintor. Ella se ha destacado como acuarelista
pero también trabaja al óleo, pastel, medios mixtos, acrílicos, xilografías, monotipias y arte digital. Ha participado
en sobre 300 exhibiciones colectivas e individuales, en las cuales ha recibido premios nacionales e internacionales.
Estela ha representado a Puerto Rico en Exhibiciones y Bienales Internacionales en: Museo de Arte Bolivariano, Santa Marta,
Colombia (2009, 2012); Museo Nacional de la Acuarela, México, D.F. (2004, 2010); Museo Casa de la Moneda, Madrid, España (2009);
Ateneo El Hatillo, Caracas, Venezuela (2005); Museo de Arte, Ligonier Valley, Pennsylvania, EE.UU.(2001); Agora Gallery, Soho,
Nueva York, EE.UU (1993).Incluida en Who’s Who in American Art” (2010, 2011, 2012); International Artist Magazine, Sección "Master
Painters of the World"(junio/julio,2003); el Examen de Conocimiento de Español como Segundo Idioma, Universidad del Estado de
Nueva York. (junio, 2003); el Diccionario de Biografías Internacionales, Cambridge, Inglaterra (Edición 23,1992); nominada Mujer
Internacional del Año 1991-1992 en The World Who's Who of Women por la Junta Editorial International Biographical Centre, Edición XI,
Cambridge, Inglaterra.
En Puerto Rico, ha exhibido en más de 16 museos e ilustrado portadas de Directorios Telefónicos, Guías Turísticas, libros históricos,
poemarios, novelas y postales. Ella propuso al Senado de Puerto Rico que se celebre “La Semana del Artista Pintor Puertorriqueño”,
convertido en Ley 187, que establece se celebre anualmente en diciembre.
Graduada de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto Mayagüez, ha sido profesora universitaria, instructora de dibujo y pintura,
Jurado de arte, curadora de exhibiciones y miembro de múltiples asociaciones artísticas. Actualmente, Estela Robles es Presidenta de
Artistas Pintoras de Puerto Rico Asociadas (APPRA), Secretaria de Pintores y Artesanos Unidos de Aguadilla, Inc. (PAUA), Secretaria
de Asociación Artistas Caribeños (AAC), miembro de Coalición Artistas de Puerto Rico (COAPR). miembro del Grupo Acuarelistas
Hispanoamericanos (GAH).
Sus pinturas se encuentran en colecciones privadas y corporativas en Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Argentina, México, España, Inglaterra,
Alemania y los Estados Unidos. Reproduce sus obras en ediciones limitadas.
Actualmente, Estela Robles es miembro de Artistas Pintoras de Puerto Rico Asociadas (APPRA), Asociación Artistas Caribeños (AAC),
Asociacion Artistas Plasticos de Puerto Rico (AAPPR), y del Grupo Acuarelistas Hispanoamericanos (GAH).
